Terms and Conditions

1. General Terms and Acceptance

These Donation Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern donations made to The Egyptian Orphan Fund Australia Limited (TEOFA).

By making a donation, you agree to be bound by these Terms as published at the time of your donation.

TEOFA reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will apply to donations made after the updated Terms are published on our website.

2. Voluntary Donations

All donations are voluntary and non-refundable except as outlined in our Refund Policy.

3. Use of Funds

Donations will be applied to the nominated program or appeal where specified.

If an appeal is fully funded, discontinued, or circumstances change, TEOFA reserves the right to apply donations to a similar purpose or to areas of greatest need consistent with our charitable objectives.

4. Tax Deductibility

TEOFA is a registered Australian charity and holds Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status.

Donations of $2 or more are tax deductible in Australia unless goods or services are provided in return.

A tax receipt will be issued to the email address provided at the time of donation.

5. Payment Processing (Stripe and EFTPOS)

All online donations made through our website are processed securely via Stripe or other authorized payment providers.

TEOFA does not store full credit card details.

6. Recurring Donations

By selecting a recurring donation, you authorise TEOFA to debit your nominated payment method at the selected frequency.

You may amend or cancel a recurring donation at any time by contacting accounts@egyptianorphanfund.org.au.

7. Errors and Refunds

If you believe an error has occurred (including incorrect amount or duplicate transaction), please contact us promptly.

Refunds will be assessed in accordance with our Refund Policy.

8. Privacy

Personal information collected during the donation process is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
